The Indian private sector’s involvement in space exploration is gaining momentum, with the Kerala government establishing a space park as part of this entrepreneurial venture. The Kerala Space Park is a 20-acre incubation and demonstration centre for space exploration startups with the potential to ignite future expansion.

The site boasts of two primary buildings – an ideation centre for software development and a manufacturing and testing facility. They form inward-facing “U” shapes, with a landscaped courtyard in between. A skyway connects the two structures, and the project emphasises the fusion of nature and architecture. The project combines innovative design, environmental stewardship, and entrepreneurship to shape the future of private-sector space exploration in India.
