Select Citywalk, New Delhi
Hospitality, Retail & Mixed Use
A premier mixed-use development blending modern functionality with minimalist design, offering an expansive and vibrant environment in the heart of South Delhi.
SELECT CITYWALK is a premier 1.2 million sq. ft. mixed-use development, strategically located in the heart of South Delhi’s District Centre, Saket. As a well-planned urban business district, it features a Retail Podium, Cinemas, an Office Building, and Serviced Apartments, along with approximately 1,500 parking spaces.
Positioned in the country’s prime tourist corridor and housing prestigious national and international trade and commerce establishments, SELECT CITYWALK incorporates state-of-the-art services and facilities to ensure continuous operation. The plazas in front of the four entrance atriums align with the drop-off zones, leading visitors into a meticulously landscaped area with thoughtfully designed seating and water features, encouraging social interaction and celebration.
The atriums serve as cohesive spaces for the entire structure, allowing people to gather and reflect on the surrounding culture. They invite natural light while excluding heat through double glass curtain glazing. The planning ensures that each shop overlooks one of the three oval atriums, which delineate the spatial order. This design maximizes visibility for the shops, ensuring that the spaces remain profitable throughout the length of the walk.
Functionality blends seamlessly with materials to create a minimalist backdrop that resonates with the posh local culture of South Delhi. The spaces and corridors remain visually open, allowing for unhindered and free-flowing movement, which imparts an impression of expansive, larger-than-life spaces. This sense of openness is further accentuated by the austere white tensile fabric that forms the roof, adding lightness to the experience and maintaining coherence throughout. Executed in association with DP Architects (Singapore), Select Citywalk is one of the largest mixed-use developments in the Indian capital.
