#CostEffectiveHousing
Welcome to the March issue of DFI newsletter focusing on affordable housing or #CostEffectiveHousing projects successfully delivered to end users. DFI being the first architectural firm to get approval under affordable housing scheme by Haryana Government aims to provide solutions that maximise spatial planning, while being environmentally sensitive, and hence low-energy intensive.
PROJECT FEATURE
Summer Palms, Faridabad is one of DFI’s first successfully delivered projects in the 'cost effective' segment, that has demonstrated true cost-effectiveness in its ‘handed over cost’ and 'theory implemented in practice' with a success message that sets new benchmarks in this domain. This project echoes our philosophy and innovation that caters to over nine hundred satisfied users and a smiling developer.
The project is finished at an average cost of Rs.1050 per square foot, which is lower by a staggering 15-25% compared to similar developments delivered during the same year (2012-2013). Despite being under the affordable housing scheme, Summer Palms doesn’t compromise on any of the basic necessities. It has a very thoughtful and efficient landscape design, with a blend of play and leisure areas including a fully functional and aesthetic club and sports facilities.
