Welcome to the July edition of DFI newsletter!
"Since the first half of 2016, there is a buzz around affordable housing after the announcement of slew of rebates on home loans under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. However, this sudden augment in demand has led to a decline of quality homes in the affordable segment. Design Forum International felt the need to solve this problem looking beyond the buzz word and coming out with innovative design solutions and setting benchmarks in this domain."
Anand Sharma, Partner and Principal Architect, DFI

Project Feature | BDI Ambaram
BDI Ambaram, Bhiwadi, a group housing project designed for the mid-income group, is conceived to provide value for money and security of a self-owned home. By offering a safe, efficient and well-equipped residential township, the project fosters urbanisation by giving people higher-than-average residential options. Spread across 13 acres, it is a low-rise development tastefully done, while enabling the cost effectiveness. Landscape details integrate the functional and sustainable aspects of design, while offering the perfect outdoor setting and landscape zones. The planning of open spaces has been critically done, in terms of functional usage by cleverly incorporating services, utilities and drainage systems.
Awarded as ‘Affordable Housing Project of the Year’ at 9th Magppie Estate Awards 2017 and 8th Realty Plus Awards 2016.
