VISION 2019
The last year @DFI has seen the unveiling of several landmark architectural projects in line with our quest for #NationBuilding. A memorable year in terms of projects, acclaim, dialogues and discourse, as DFI grows by leaps and bounds, we are now entering our 25th year working toward the built environment. The year has begun on a spectacular note and moving forward, we aim to impact the built environment, our communities and cities, through our aspirations, and design interventions.

DFI 3.0
DFI 3.0 is our vision and initiative that forays into new geographical territories, and novel domains such as Transport and Infrastructure. As we make headways in the international segment, the exotic island nation of Seychelles becomes key to the narrative, with the inception of the new Police Headquarters building by NBCC. With this, we hope to initiate active overseas consolidation, exploring new realms and learning along the way. Other notable projects include the design for a second civil airport at Bihta, on the outskirts of Patna and redevelopment schemes for the North Delhi Municipal Corporation in Azadpur. Furthering our efforts in the affordable housing sector, we are striving to innovate and further delve into our expertise in this domain.

Carrying our #NationBuilding drive ahead, we are incorporating the latest in terms of processes and technology for project delivery, while employing ingenious Building Information Modeling (BIM). DFI has become the torchbearer in pioneering the latest trends in design execution for complicated projects such as the new terminal of the Guwahati International Airport, in partnership with AECOM. Providentially, Autodesk has showcased the new terminal design for the Guwahati International Airport in an Autodesk capability presentation to the management of the Airport Authority of India, as an example for airport projects.
