DFI's Group Housing Projects In this #affordablehousing project, BDI Ambaram, the use of modular construction has helped in cutting down on the cost and construction time of the project.   Summer Palms in Faridabad, is a fine example of affordable housing projects by DFI. This project was finished at an average cost of Rs.1050 per square foot, yet has a thoughtful and efficient landscape design, with a blend of play and leisure areas, a fully functional club and sports facilities. The design strategy is deeply rooted in controlling cost by maximising efficiency. Considering land and service cost as static determinants, the cost of the structure becomes the determining factor. A normal column beam structure, employed a lot of dead load in walls, a sheer wall structure is selected.
